Hello Bobcat families!

We have a couple of important updates to share with you!

Athlete Paperwork
On Monday (July 11), the district’s Online Athletic Clearance website for collecting athlete and parent information and paperwork went live.

The site will collect most of the information from the forms that have been turned in to the team in past years; the completed EL2 physical form must be scanned and uploaded to the Clearance site. The attached PDF includes instructions for accessing the site and setting up your account.

The following are not part of the new site and must be completed and turned in at the meet-and-greet or first practice (also included in the attached PDF):

• Athlete and Parent/Guardian Information form
• Team Code of Conduct
• Certificates of completion for the three online NFHS courses (Concussion for Students, Heat Illness Prevention, Sudden Cardiac Arrest)
• Online ACPS volunteer application for parents who plan to volunteer (https://apps.raptortech.com/Apply/MTU3OmVuLVVT)
• ACPS Request to Transport Student(s) in Private Vehicle (optional)
• Corporate Sponsorship form (optional)

Happy Summer Bobcats!

Many thanks to those of you who have submitted your gear sizes! Each athlete will receive a team suit and t-shirt at the beginning of the season in the package provided by the booster club as part of the fair share, along with a car magnet and team cap (swimmers) or chamois (divers).

To purchase fan gear and extra BHS Swimming and Diving items for the season, we now have a team store! Check out the available apparel, accessories, and footwear at https://bakerssport-buchholzswimminganddiving.itemorder.com/shop/home/!

The coaches would like everyone to also have a team sweatshirt, but it will not be included in the gear package this year. The team sweatshirt is designated on the team store as “required” so you will know which one is intended for everyone to order as part of the team uniform.

The initial order period will close on July 3, with items delivered four weeks after that date, just before the start of the 2022 season. Don’t wait to place your order!

Attached please find the 2022 season form and informational packet.

This year some forms will be turned in to the team and some will be uploaded directly to the district/FHSAA. The first page of the packet outlines which forms go where, and directions on the uploading process will follow but in the meantime we wanted everyone to have the forms to start on over the summer.

If your child is homeschooled, please e-mail buchholzswimanddive@gmail.com for an additional form that must be completed.

Congratulations to you all on nearing completion of the 2021-22 school year!

Please help us with preparations for the 2022 season by noting the important details below.

The 2022 schedule for Buchholz is as follows:

August 14: Season Kick-Off Pool Party (final details TBA)
August 15: First Day of Practice
August 17: Relay Meet @ Northeast Pool 4:45 pm
August 31: BHS vs Eastside vs St Francis @ Northeast Pool 4:45 pm
September 14: BHS vs PK Yonge @ Northeast Pool 4:45 pm
September 24: City Meet @ Northeast Pool 7:45 am
October 5: BHS vs Gainesville vs Oak Hall @ Northeast Pool 4:45 pm
Week of October 17: BHS Districts (date and location TBA)
Week of October 24: BHS Regionals (date and location TBA)
November 5: BHS State @ Stuart, FL (All Day)
November 14: End-of-Season Banquet (final details TBA)

BHS swim practices will be at the Northeast Pool, Monday through Friday from 6:00 to 7:30 am. Stay tuned for more details on diving practice schedule and location.
