The BHS men tied with GHS and beat Oak Hall, and the BHS women beat both GHS and Oak Hall in the meet last night! Results and scores are attached.

Remember that Wednesday team yearbook photo day and Senior Day, so we have an earlier arrival time for swimmers and a celebration of our Seniors after the meet!

BHS vs. GHS, Oak Hall, and Union County High School Meet Information
We are gearing up for Wednesday’s meet with GHS, Oak Hall, and Union County High School!
In addition to the swimming and diving, SWI will be at the meet to take team photos for the yearbook; please note the earlier arrival time for swimmers.
Wednesday is also Senior Day, so please plan to spend a little time with us after the meet to celebrate the Senior class! Pizza and cupcakes will be provided for all athletes.

Diving Timeline
Arrive no later than: 3:20 pm
Warm-ups: 3:30 pm
Start: Immediately after warm-ups
Swimming Timeline
Arrive no later than: 4:00 pm
Warmups: 4:45 pm
Start: 5:30 pm
Team Photos
Athletes should wear their black 2022 team shirt and black shorts to the meet for the team photo. Bring your spirit gear that you received at the City Meet!
Apparel and What to Bring
- Athletes should wear their black 2022 team shirt to school Wednesday to get in the spirit!
- Athletes should wear TENNIS SHOES to the meet. No flip flops or slides!
- Bring your Bobcat spirit gear (beads, ears, pom pons!
- Black team suits must be worn for the competition by swimmers and divers. Team caps must be worn if you wear a cap.
- Athletes can bring folding chairs and we will have team tents set up for shade.
- Athletes should bring their own snacks and drinks, and the team will supplement with fruit and water.
- Athletes are to use the locker room restrooms. Parents are to use the restrooms in the park.

Practice cancellations, City Meet results, District Meet date changes
Good evening Bobcats!
Because of the closure of the Northeast Pool Wednesday through Sunday, Buchholz practices are canceled Wednesday through Friday (September 28-30).
City Meet results are attached! Congratulations to the team on such a great collective effort to win both the boys and girls titles for the second year in a row! Two links to news articles on the win are below.

Because of a conflict with the pool for the District swim meet, the dates for both swim and dive meets have changed. The meets are now scheduled as follows:
Swimming
October 19, at Planet Swim Aquatics (300 Davis Park Rd, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32081)
Even though the date has changed, the plan is still for athletes to ride together to the meet via charter bus. Buchholz is hosting the meet so we will need parent volunteers; watch for more details coming soon!
Diving
October 18, at Sandalwood High School (2750 John Promenade Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32246)

URGENT: Pant sizes needed by Friday!
Hello again Bobcats!
The booster club board is ordering sweatpants for each athlete! In order to get them in time for Districts, we need to send in sizes tomorrow morning (Friday, September 23) – we need your sizes by 9:00 am to place the team order.

Make sure you choose your style (men’s or women’s) and size carefully as we won’t be able to do exchanges.
