Buchholz vs. PK Yonge meet information, heat sheet
Who’s excited for Wednesday’s competition with PK Yonge?!?!
BHS morning practice group does NOT have practice on Wednesday due to the meet. Club swimmers should go to Wednesday AM practice if it is on their regular club schedule.

Diving Timeline
Arrive no later than: 3:20 pm
Warm-ups: 3:30 pm
Start: Immediately after warm-ups
Swimming Timeline
Arrive no later than: 4:30 pm
Start: 5:30 pm
Apparel and What to Bring
- Athletes should wear their black 2022 team shirt to school Wednesday to get in the spirit!
- Athletes should wear their black 2022 team shirt and TENNIS SHOES to the meet. No flip flops or slides!
- Black team suits must be worn for the competition by swimmers and divers. Team caps must be worn if you wear a cap.
- Athletes can bring folding chairs and we will have team tents set up for shade.
- Athletes should bring their own snacks and drinks, and the team will supplement with fruit and water.
- Athletes are to use the locker room restrooms. Parents are to use the restrooms in the park.
Fan Gear
The booster club board will have team apparel including shirts and suits available for sale (cash or check only) at the meet.
Volunteer Positions
We still need volunteers for this meet, especially lane timers! Timing is fun and a great way to see the racing up close. Please sign up to help at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0F4DADAC23A4F9C61-buchholz6.
If you are interested in learning how to enter swimmer times on the team computer during meets, we are seeking someone to apprentice with Coach John on Wednesday. It’s easy and it helps us get the meet results out quickly to all teams. Sign-up for this position is on the volunteer sign-up page.

Good morning Bobcats!
As we prepare for Wednesday’s meet with PK Yonge, we need to line up some parent volunteers!

The heat sheet for tomorrow’s swimming and diving meet is attached. We are excited to see everyone compete!
The booster club board will also have extra gear from 2022 and past years for sale at the meet. If you are looking to pick up another t-shirt or other item, bring your cash or check!

Buchholz meet Wednesday: volunteers needed!
Good morning Bobcats!
Buchholz is the host team for this Wednesday’s swim meet, so we are in need of a good number of parent volunteers for a variety of positions. To sign up, you can go to:

If you are new to swimming and are nervous about being a lane timer, please don’t be! It is fun and a great way to watch the swims from up close. There will be training on-site.
Please note that before you volunteer, you will need to complete the Alachua County Public Schools volunteer form at https://apps.raptortech.com/Apply/MTU3OmVuLVVT and be approved. It only takes about 5 minutes to do!
